Buying a New Huawei Matebook D 15. An addition to our Huawei gadget collections.

Due to the Pandemic and the eventual COMMUNITY LOCKDOWN, people meant to find alternative ways on how to make a decent living without going out of their houses, fortunately, some employers/companies are considerate enough to allow work from home for their employees.

Last week, when the quarantine control lightened to "moderate community quarantine", me and my housemate geared up with face-mask and with alcohol sanitizers on hand, went out to buy a new laptop.... with one model in mind...

So we went to Glorieta, (by walking) stood in line and waited patiently until the mall opens. (when i have errands to run, i prefer going to the mall early). Glorieta's safety protocol is very strict. but their security personnel are remarkably respectful. 

We finally reached the gadget hub on  the 3rd floor. asked 2 stores but they ran out of stock. Luckily, before we even contemplated on settling on another brand, we found a store that has stock.

"One please!" and the clerk gladly prepared our "order".
While looking around, I suggested my housemate to get her dad the new phone she planned to buy for him as a replacement for the old phone that got damaged and is not working anymore.. She already knows what model she wanted.. "The Huawei Y7p". we asked what color they have on stock and when we liked what we see... "One Please!".

The Huawei Matebook D 15 has 8GB RAM and storage of 256GB SSD+1tb HDD. CPU is AMD RYZEN 5 3500U.
very suitable for "work from home" setups.

The Huawei Y7p has 64GB ROM, 4 GB RAM. it is dual SIM and as always has free case inside the box.
a slight setback is, the latest Huawei models does not have GMS (google mail service) and google apps pre-installed on the unit. but you can still download facebook, whatsapp, instagram and messenger apps using third-party app galleries or Huawei app gallery.

Huawei is a household brand in our ... household. I've been a Huawei user for more than 4 years already. my first Huawei phone was Huawei P9+ same time that my best friend got the Huawei P9. both color Gold. but even before that, she already uses Huawei P6 and before that, Honor phone. (which was powered by Huawei). we were so mesmerized with the quality and vibrant color of the photos. And very satisfied with how user-friendly their phones are.  Now, i'm happy with my Huawei Mate10 and she uses Huawei Nova5T.

Overall, I believe Huawei delivers. when it comes to quality and easy navigation.

Lunch and Dinner at MANDARIN SKY SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

  Month of June is the season of students’ graduation or moving up from School levels. Last June 4, 2024, I was invited by a friend for light lunch at MANDARIN SKY – SM GRAND CENTRAL BRANCH. Then afterwards, we went window shopping and had our facials done at Bioessence. The funny thing is, that night I was also invited by another friend for dinner at MANDARIN SKY this time at their Banawe branch for the celebration of my godson’s moving up and for getting high honor in school.
